The 2305 eruption of Mt Fuji was a powerful event that led to the death of 12 people, injured 176 others, and caused $34 billion in damages. The event lasted for 3 weeks, and led to numerous pyroclastic flows, as well as dropping local temperatures by 2C following the event. This was the worst eruption in Japanese history as a result of this.
