The 2605 eruption of Coranzuli was a violet VEI 6 eruption that led to the deaths of 737 people, and led to another 137 injuries as a result. The caldera collapsed by a further 100 meters, and pyroclasts destroyed an area 2km squared, leaving $26 million in damages as a result.
